Chris Herron is an owner, educator, coach, and lifelong learner who brings enthusiasm, character, and heart to Elite Performance Prep Academy. Chris began his journey with Elite as the Online Middle School Academic Coach, where he quickly became passionate about the mission, structure, and heart behind the academy. After seeing firsthand the impact Elite has on students and families, Chris is now proud to serve as an owner of the Niceville and Panama City locations while continuing to be a hands-on academic coach for students. Originally from just outside London, England, Chris has lived across six time zones and attended fourteen different schools before graduating high school. That unique journey shaped his adaptability, perspective, and deep appreciation for the fact that every student’s educational path looks different. His own experience allows him to connect with students who are navigating change, growth, and the need for a learning environment where they are truly seen and supported. Chris originally studied Mechanical Engineering before discovering a strong interest in drafting and design, where his technical mind and creativity came together. Now based in sunny Florida for the past 25 years, Chris is a devoted husband to Christa, proud father of five, and grandfather of two. A lifelong athlete, he played baseball from age five through twenty-three, primarily as a catcher, and now pours that same passion into coaching high school wrestling and baseball. When he is not teaching, coaching, or encouraging students, Chris can usually be found on the water with his family, fishing and soaking up the Florida sunshine. Guided by faith, family, and a love for education, Chris is committed to helping students strengthen both their academics and their character. His heart is to encourage every learner to show up with discipline, humility, and a winning mindset in the classroom, in athletics, and in life.

Christa Herron is an owner, leader, encourager, and passionate advocate for personalized education at Elite Performance Prep Academy. With years of experience working alongside educators across homeschool, public, and private school settings, Christa has developed a deep understanding that every student’s path is unique. Her heart is to help create meaningful, individualized opportunities where students feel seen, supported, and equipped to succeed. As an owner of the Niceville and Panama City locations, Christa brings a unique blend of compassion, strategy, organization, and excellence to the Elite family. Her diverse background spans nursing, corporate training, business optimization, operations, and finance, giving her the ability to lead with both heart and vision. She is deeply passionate about developing the whole student by building strong character, fostering confidence, encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset, and cultivating a lifelong love of learning. Christa believes education should never be one-size-fits-all. Her desire is to help students discover who they are, what they are capable of, and how to walk confidently in their purpose. She is committed to partnering with families to create an environment where students can grow academically, personally, and beyond the classroom. Christa is a devoted wife to Chris, mother of five, and proud “CC” to two grandchildren. Her family-first perspective fuels everything she does and shapes the way she serves students, parents, and the community. Outside of Elite, Christa enjoys spending time on the water with her family, cooking, and tackling home projects. A natural leader in faith and community, Christa and Chris also lead the Young Adults ministry at their church, where they continue to invest in the next generation with wisdom, encouragement, and love. Guided by faith, family, and purpose, Christa is passionate about helping students and families feel connected, empowered, and ready to thrive.
